How to read a two-platform comparison
A criterion bar chart tells you where each platform concentrates its strength; it does not tell you which one you should buy. Two rules from having run these evaluations in practice: first, weight the criteria by your constraints — a two-point governance lead is irrelevant if your actual battle is adoption, which is exactly what the selector quiz re-weights for. Second, watch for scope asymmetries the numbers can't express: Unity Catalog's scores describe governance inside the lakehouse, and Purview's catalog score means something different in a pure-Azure estate than a heterogeneous one.
